Âé¶¹¸£ÀûÍø is seeking a Financial Specialist to join our team on an 18-month contract. This role involves managing financial operations within a global setting, focusing on credit and collections activities. You will work with international customer portfolios, contribute to cash flow management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize risk and maintain strong customer relationships. This position offers exposure to global markets and opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes.
Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location or hold an EU passport.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a large portfolio of international customers, ensuring timely collection of payments and reducing overdue balances.
- Use a structured approach to follow up on invoices and resolve payment issues.
- Collaborate with the Credit Risk Team to assess customer creditworthiness and recommend credit limits.
- Oversee credit block processes, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
- Analyze and report on financial data, including overdue accounts and trends, providing actionable insights.
- Act as a finance partner to internal teams, resolving complex credit or collection challenges.
- Contribute to process improvements and share best practices in credit and collections.
- Maintain high standards of customer service while balancing financial objectives.
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in credit and collections, preferably in a multinational or shared services environment.
- Understanding of end-to-end Order to Cash (OTC) processes.
- Strong financial judgment and ability to interpret customer financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting; experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive and self-directed approach.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and accountability.
- A positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Educational background in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
